New range of brushes
As a buyer at Colruyt Group, I am always looking for ways to improve and unify our range. When I started looking for a new brush supplier, Flanders Brush Makers immediately brought up the right possibilities.
Flanders Brush Makers especially thought along with me about the concept, elaboration and logistics. This involvement and open communication from the start ensured that we renewed our entire brush range, with Flanders Brush Makers as our permanent partner.
Today you will find a range of 30 products in the larger Colruyt shops, and a selection of them in smaller shops within the group. To a limited extent, the range can also be found in Okay shops. Depending on the size of the store, the number of references may vary.

Working together pays off
An example of an innovative product that came out of our collaboration is the patio broom with vegetable basin and recycled PET fibre. Such a brush picks up both fine dust and other dirt and is an interesting product. The mockup of this brush was delivered quickly, which greatly facilitated the process.
In addition, Flanders Brush Makers adapted the colours for some products from their standard range to suit Colruyt's requirements.
The cooperation is smooth and professional, with short lines and quick follow-up. The price and speed, combined with their ability to think along with us, were decisive for our choice. Even in the logistics start-up phase, Flanders Brush Makers thought along with us about efficient solutions, something we did not always experience this way with other partners.
Expertise and future orientation
I have confidence in Flanders Brush Makers, partly because of their forward-looking investment in new machines and their focus on sustainability. Our targets for own brands are clear: products must meet high quality standards, such as using FSC wood. Although the demand for sustainable products is currently not yet widespread among consumers, we continue to focus on high-quality material without compromising on quality. In this, too, we are on the same wavelength with Flanders Brush Makers.
